Spasis Athanasios

He was born in Sidirokastro in 1952.
He is the son of Constantine, known miller in the region.
He is a graduate Civil Engineer and maintain for years Technical Office studies construction.
It operates as a public works contractor.
He is a member of TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece), the National Association of Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Association of Serres and the National Association of Local and OF PUBLIC Works
Represents the Technical Chamber, a real estate appraiser.
He was a member of the Board of Loutra Sidirokastro(today chairman), Chairman of the Board of the Center for Children
Welfare Male Sidirokastro.
He is married to lawyer Iro Oikonomidou and they have three children.

He was elected mayor of Sidirokastro in 2002 and re-elected in 2006.
